SOLD OUT!! JVC 3" x 5" Full Range Driver

I used 4 of these units with driven by a T-Amp in a ported 19"(w) x 8" (h) x 6" (d) enclosure. The enclosure is dual use in that it can be driven by a personal music player, used as a small PA, or Guitary amp. Each channel of the T-amp drives a pair of these speakers for optimum loading (4 ohms). The upper section has space for any 2-RU Tall Guitar pre-amp, mixer or effects box + the T-amp power supply.
Bass response is better than expectd with the ports allowing bass down to ~ 75hz. The design of the driver's VC really does allow for highs up to ~ 17Khz. Exceptional value. While much has been made of trying to build a single driver that "does it all". This one comes the closest that I have ever seen

at 1.25 you Cant go Wrong...they have Nice Clarity in the Mids,and extend High Enough a Tweeter isnt Really need....suprising Bass Response..but im scared to feed them too much so i'll leave that to a Subwoofer...overall Great deal..a Reccomended buy.

I just built a small line-array using 8 of these stacked vertically mounted in a 5x5 vinyl fencepost and I must say it sounds great. I really don't feel a need for a tweeter and the lows are surprising...but will still benefit from a subwoofer. Ordering more to make stereo pair soon.
