I wrote a review earlier, but words just don't do it justice!

I built three boxes for this thing before I got what I wanted. I used the Dayton SA25 25W subwoofer amp, and, connected to the right source, it powers it perfectly.

The first box I built was the one PE recomends in their woofer selection guide. It moved a lot of air from the port, but the bass was week and distorted no matter where I set the crossover or the gain.

Next I tried a .25cu. ft. sealed enclosure. No bass whatsoever with that setup.

The final enclosure is a .35cu. ft. ported enclosure with a 7.5" x 2" port tube. The crossover on the plate amp and the gain set a little past half way. This setup soungs good with every type of music played through it. Bass is tight and punchy without being boomy.

One thing to note, this speaker takes a while to break in, but when it does, it's a little trooper. I have this connected to my computer as the sub for a 2.1 system. If you are going to use this with the 25W plate amp and connect it to your computer, make sure you have a good sound card.

well i must admit theres huge excursion but just no boom to back it up. the speaker is much smaller than it seems but over all its a great speaker to have
