Selenium DH200E-E 1" Titanium Horn Driver 1-3/8"-18 TPI

I have used quite a few Selenium horn drivers and woofers to replace drivers in client's installed EV, Peavey and University speakers. In some cases the OEM components have not been available, in other cases I just needed something economical. In almost all cases the repaired speaker ended up sounding better than the speaker when it was new. Often a new comparable Selenium driver is less expensive than OEM diaphragms or recones. Excellent products.

Excellent value all around

I replaced the cheap 1 oz. tweeters in my bargain Acoustic Audio brand PA speakers. They are 500-1000W each. I thought they sounded pretty good for the price ($200 for the pair approx.) but when I blew one of the tweeters with feedback it all changed. The company (only available on ebay apparently) told me their replacements were $127 each! That's more than the whole setup cost per unit! Needless to say, I looked to parts express. They delivered with this product. The high frequencies were so much more powerful with this product that I replaced the tweeter in the other unit immediately as well.

The sound is like night and day. When I got the 4 lb. product I knew that the quality was going to blow away the toy that came of of my PA.
