Rebuilding a pair of 37 year old Martins I found the holes for the 10" woofers to be out-sized for any speakers available. Using PE'S foam gasketing and speaker caulk I was able to use these clamps to actually mount the speakers. I could now locate the mount screws further outside the existing cutout; problem solved. Unconventional, but very secure.
