Cabinet Carpet Jet Black Yard 54" Wide

I use this carpet to do some basic fiberglass built speaker boxes. It is great for stretching over curves and edges of speaker box. It builds a nice and strong foundation for subwoofer boxes, it reduces your time on building up the thickness of the box without using layers and layers of fiberglass mat! And if you want to carpet your finished fiberglass box, this carpet will easily stretch over it. My advise to you on working with this carpet is to use a heat gun on low heat and just give it a quick pass around the whole carpeted box. This will take out all the loose and annoying frays that everyone is talking about. And it also looks nicer!! Good Luck!!

Couldn't use this product . After cutting to size the material would tear when stretching.
This was a waste of time purchase . Had to re order the latex backing material, which doesnt tear and the backing is not a problem.
Couldnt return original purchase since I had cut it and sales werent too helpful. Buy the latex backed carpet if you are using speakers/cases professionally/ industrially.

I mean the carpet is ok I guess but it was a touch thin and the cut edge was crooked, had to loose some length to straighten it. I also didn't order enough ( stupid me ) but I went to an auto parts store and bought a roll of carpet, yes some auto parts stores sell it by the roll for cars, and it worked great. About the same price but a much heavier carpet, and straight edges.
