Dayton XO2W-4.5K 2-Way Crossover 4,500 Hz

I needed something that gave me a 4 ohm low end xover, with a regular 8 ohm top end. This worked nicely. Smooth, clear and very precise. The stage monitors we put them in sound great. We compared them side by side with the old monitors/xovers and there is no comparison.

Built strong! This crossover is rated to 300 watts. I will tell you, I have run a steady 500 watts of test rap bass cd's thru this without saturation or distortion!!!!! ( I'm a pro classic rock bassist and hate rap music) The slope remains accurate at either 4 or 8 ohm loading. I wire for 12 ohm loading and the slope drops to 3.2k which is still above the horn low cutoff, hitting the sweet spot in the highs and that desired dip in the 2k feedback range which is perfect! I can get a maximum amount of cabs on a 3 ohm load on my Crown Xti amps thus getting max power and running cool enough above the minimum load rating. I will tell you, THIS is the crossover for 2 way stage monitor cabs!!!!! AND for 2 way main mid/hi tops for front of house as well!!!!
