Expect only the finest experience from Pioneer's BDP-51FD Blu-ray player. One HDMI® 1.3a digital cable is all you need to connect the BDP-51FD to an HDMI capable A/V receiver or HD flat panel TV. HDMI 1.3a provides 12-bit deep color support, improving subtle gradations between colors. For the best video, three noise reduction circuits look at each video frame on a pixel-per-pixel basis to reduce Gaussian, block, and mosquito noise without blurring the image. A suite of picture control features includes YNR, CNR, BNR, MNR, Detail, White Level, Black Level, Black Setup, Gamma Correction, Hue, and Chroma Level for fine tuning video playback. Built into the Pioneer BDP-51D are Wolfson™ audio DACs that feature a signal-to-noise ration of 117 dB. Pioneer has also included an exclusive jitter reduction circuit that digitally reshapes the waveform of the audio clock to greatly reduce error in all content. 7.1-channel analog audio outputs ensure compatibility with non-HDMI equipped receivers. Internal audio decoders handle all of the advanced audio formats included Dolby® Digital Plus, Dolby® TrueHD, DTS-HD High Resolution®, and DTS-HD Master®. The BDP-51FD is compatible with BD-ROM, BD-R, BD-RE, DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW, and CD format discs. Composite, S-video, and component video outputs are included.
