Pioneer's VSX-918 features Hybrid Amplifier Technology, a Freescale Processing 180 MIPS DSP, a 192 kHz 24-bit DAC, and HDMI switching with signal repeating. 120 watts of raw, unadulterated power (1 kHz, 0.05 % THD @ 8 ohms) is sent to five speaker channel outputs. 3.5 mm stereo audio and USB jacks are front mounted for direct connection to MP3 players and iPods. Connect your XM® and Sirius® satellite radios and control them over the On Screen Display (satellite tuners and subscription required; sold separately). Connections for both Toslink optical and coaxial digital audio are provided for flexibility, as are three high definition component video inputs and 5.1-channel preamp inputs.
