RCA HD3HPL Optical Cable 3 ft.

If you're like me, you may be thinking that an optical cable is an optical cable. There aren't too many ways to differentiate one from the other. Well, I was wrong. This RCA-branded Toslink doesn't sound any different than other optical cables but it has two features that make it much better than the others in my collection. First, the cable itself is transparent. This makes it easy to find and follow in the mess of cables behind my equipment rack. Second, the jack is round so you don't have to squint at the connector to figure out which way to orient the plug as it goes into the jack. You may be wondering if a round plug fits into a square hole. It does -- with the same satisfying "click" one gets with a square plug. After using this cable, I placed a second order to replace all of my other optical cables with these beauties.

Can't beat the price, looks good and works great.
