Dayton SS-SAT Satellite Speaker Stand Black Pair

I bought these stands Jan 2006 for band speakers for my son's yamaha keyboard... Positives: they are lightweight, adjust down for easy transport, adjust up to perfect listening height, hold large 7 inch wide x 9 inch high speakers. Negative: After 4 years of use, the nut snapped off the support when I was tightening with enclosed allen wrench (key). Be careful... Reordering a replacement set now.

Shipping was quick and they arrived in good condition. Assembly is very easy and things go together nicely. The only problem I had was the screws that lock the arms in place. The metal they are threaded into is a bit to thin to expect it to hold up to tightening. Just be careful when you do yours and do NOT use a cordless drill to tighten fasteners.

I bought this to mount my surround speakers in the living room. i like that you can adjust the width of the fit your speakers. i agree with one of the reviews that the screws extend out a little too much. i plan to shorten them with a dremel. otherwise its a good product
