Dayton S3GS43 Satellite Speaker Stand Pair Square Glass Base

Mine came with a round glass base with 3 feet, not the pincushion, 4 footed, base as described and shown. I'm okay with that since three feet are better kinematically. The 90 mount on top is made of plastic and my 4.5lb Minimus 7's sagged when mounted. A 1/2" rubber spacer (Not included) between the bottom of the speaker and the pole helped a lot. There is a hole close to the top of each pole to route the wiring inside the pole. Slick but the hole has sharp edges, which I radiused with a deburring tool so the wire would slide through without being cut and to prevent future abrasion.

The assembly instructions were incomplete when it came to mounting the pole to the glass base but it was easy to figure out once you look at all the parts. Just be sure to use a plastic washer between the nuts on the pole and the glass plates. 4 plastic washers are provided for that purpose. My 3 footed stands are a bit wobbly on our thin carpeted floor, with no padding, so running the wires through the poles is a good idea to minimize non-concentric forces that could tottle them.

Considering the sale price, these are a pretty good value.
