The basis of the A-BUS system is simple. Instead of running speaker wire all over the house and a separate Cat5 run for control, send everything over Cat5 and power the speakers locally in the room with a Decora sized amplifier that conveniently hides as a wall-plate volume control. The AB-404 accepts an input from the AB-202 single source module and distributes it to four zones. It provides power, status, and IR distribution to all zones. A loop output can be used for multiple AB-404's. The AB-404 can be mounted in a structured wiring enclosure or screwed to a wall. It is compatible with enclosures from Channel Vision, OpenHouse, OnQ, or Leviton.

Wheres the power supply??

Cmon guys, it is a huge waste of time and money on us installers for you to sell products that require a very special power supply to operate, and not to furnish it or tell us we need to buy it as well. Now I have to wait weeks to get paid on my job and foot the 50$ P/S out of my own pocket. Not to mention the trouble shooting and poor documentation just to determine that you need a separate P/S for every add on module with this system. I'm guessing Parts Xpress doesn't know this either.
