The basis of the A-BUS system is simple. Instead of running speaker wire all over the house and a separate Cat5 run for control, send everything over Cat5 and power the speakers locally in the room with a Decora sized amplifier that conveniently hides as a wall-plate volume control. The P-1014 functions as the heart of your A-BUS system. It is a 1 x 4 distribution module that delivers power and audio signals to four amplified keypads (AB-114). Four IR emitter outputs allow IR signals detected by the AB-114 to control source devices such as CD players and AM/FM tuners. RJ-45 and 110 punch down connectors are provided for easy setup and installation. Other P-1014 modules can be added to expand your A-BUS system.
