I use this to control a cable box and DVD player at a central entrance point in my basement. With a Channel Plus 8200 Bid to distribute digital cable or the DVD signal to 5 TV's. I had hoped that the IR target system (5V CP 2133) allowing control in every room would work, but not with LCD TV's, so I can only control the system from one point next to a regular TV. The LCD friendly eqt. just too expensieve.

Parts Express Customer from W Chicago Suburbs
Item is was it is. It works perfectly. There is not much to do with it , so I gave features a '4'. It's literally "plug and play". You do need the rest of the IR repeater set up (duh). The best value I could find online. S&H reasonable and fast.
