First generation HDTVs and high definition equipment typically feature DVI connectors. With Dayton Audio's HDMI male to DVI male adapter you can now connect older HD equipment to newer HD equipment without video signal loss. Signal transfer has been optimized through the use of gold plated contacts and a DVI-D connector. Thumbscrews are provided on the DVI side of the adapter for secure connection.

No need to spend more, this adapter does exactly what it's supposed to with no degradation of signal quality. I'm using it to connect a PC with DVI-D output to the HDMI input of a 32" Sony LCD and it works perfect, even for FPS gaming.
