The Nextgen™ (Topline) RCA socket is the latest addition to the WBT line of products. The heart of the Nextgen™ design is the central contact unit built from the plus and minus conductors. The positive pole features a spring loaded double prism contact, while the negative pole utilizes a patented double-wave contact. The conductor material is made of pure copper and plated in nickel free gold to ensure the highest level of conductivity. Specifications: *Transmission bandwidth: 1 GHz eddy current free *Characteristic impedance: 75 ohms *Termination technique: soldering *Torsion proof mounting, mounts from the outside using a three-hole counter nut *Mounting panel thickness: 0.1 - 4.2 mm *Available colors: Red, White, Black, Green, Blue, Yellow.

Parts Express Customer from Unknown Location

I must admit that I don't own one of these. I am wondering, as a tech for 45 years how it is possible for a female RCA jack to list at $41.00. Does this strike anyone else as a bit odd? To refurbish a Dynaco preamp with these would cost in the many HUNDREDS of dollars for just the jacks. Maybe there is something I'm missing here.

Having read about these connectors last year I thought I'd take the plunge to install them on my new DIY kit of DAC, pre-amp and power amp .I have to say they are excellent giving a really good contact and the sound is great.
