WBT 0600R Topline Banana Plug Red

Very happy with the fit and finish of this product. Definately a quality product. I only wish it came with better installation instructions. Had to download from the internet. Had a little trouble at first but after installing a few of them I figured out some installation tips.

I did not want to spend the money on these high performance German made banana plugs.I have a set of the Radio Shack Gold locking bananas which are designed well, work very nice [used solder joint], and are much lighter in mass than these. But they don't come close to fitting my new 7 AWG speaker cables though. I wasted time and money trying cheaper "knock offs" but the machining tolerances and split tip design were not correct. The stiffness of the Goertz Boa speaker cables made conventional push in bananas not suitable for them. The WBT 0600 Bananas were the perfect solution. I ended up using their crimp sleeves and gold crimpers and the two set screws on the barrel. I exchanged several technical emails with WBT Germany and they were very helpful. They even emailed me the Crimpen PDF to explain the recommended technique. Overall I am very pleased with the product. They are expensive but you get what you pay for. I am sure the midline series will work just as well.
