I'm finishing up a complete renovation of a pair of tower speakers I built back in the 1990's. I replaced the terminal cup with a blank mounting plate and installed 2 pairs of these binding posts in each cabinet. Easy to install, 3/4" center to center for my banana plugs.

These are good quality for a reasonable price. Easy to install. The inch length helps in using them with 3/4 inch wood. They can take multiple connections including bare wire. Only quibble is that the markings for black and red are rather thin and hard to see in dark corners.
