Ruggedly built and gold plated to withstand abuse and oxidation, these connectors are the perfect choice for home theatre, home audio, and car stereo. Unique two piece design incorporates dual opposing set screws to insure high mechanical conductivity, while knurled screw-on outer casing hides set screws and wire end. Will accept up to 12ga wire. Red and black indicator stripes. Retail display packaged in pairs.

I found them very convenient , makes the job of placing the speaker wires a breeze,especially in cramped places,with the 7.1 receivers the plugs were helpful and the sound is really good.
