Order a couple of extras to practice if you're new to crimping RG6 cables. This part is not exactly user-friendly (hence 4 stars for features) for novice users, but learning curve is shallow if you are.

Also, "bite the bullet" and buy a rotary cable stripper and a compression tool--you won't be sorry. You'll use them I use a compression/crimp tool and heat shrink tubing for a clean, solid, and professional job. You'll use both tools more than you would think.

Once you figure out the proper wire lengths and technique, the connectors work well and are secure.

If you are going to use this connector, do some research online and understand how to properly use connectors like this. Buy a couple of extra to experiment with.

I used this to terminate the end of a 33 foot RG6 subwoofer cable. I did not use a crimper - just wrapped a little black electrical tape around the outer jacket to give me a tighter fit. It works well! Nice stout connector.
