Not quite as expected, but still a good cable. Thursday, September 10, 2009
Phil from MA
I was expecting the standard, snag-free molded Belkin cables. The cables I received are in fact Belkin snag-free cables; but they have a vinyl "boot" sleeved over the connector (with the classic Belkin fins attached) instead of the molded version I'm used to seeing on Belkin cables. It still works well; but if your devices don't have much clearance between the jacks, or if you need the molded-on strain-relief, you might want to reconsider. I ordered the 14' black cables (109-468) at the same time; and they were not only molded, they also had gold connectors.
If you need high quality cables, belkin is one of the best. If you need a snag-free cable that can actually be used without cutting off a protecive boot, Belkin is the ONLY cable worth buying.
I have bought many Belkin cables over the years; but have never found a better price. I only wish they used UPS, to save a few more bucks on shipping.
