Dayton Audio's WT3 makes measuring loudspeaker driver parameters easier, faster and more accurate than ever before. While previous generation woofer testers took around 6 minutes to measure 30 impedance points, the new WT3 measures over 30,000 data points in just a few seconds using a new swept sine technique that is only available with the WT3. The result is a very high-resolution impedance measurement that allows the extraction of an extremely accurate driver parameter set, suitable for the most critical loudspeaker design work. Free air parameters are measured in just a few seconds. VAS can be measured by traditional test box, added mass or, more conveniently, just by specifying the 1W/1m SPL of the driver. No other loudspeaker impedance tester is as fast, versatile, or as easy to use as the WT3.
WT3 hardware consists of a compact USB interface unit with attached USB cable and alligator clip leads. It's manufactured on state-of-the-art equipment using precision surface mount components.
Windows compatible software provides an easy-to-use interface that allows you to be up and running very quickly. You can save as many as 20 impedance measurements per project and then overlay and compare any or all of the measurements to create a custom report complete with all your notes. Perfect for quick incoming QC inspections.

Measure speaker parameters of any driver, large or small
Compact USB interface with molded test leads
Data can be printed or saved to create a driver parameter library
Parameters can be exported to WinSpeakerz and other popular box design programs
Measures VAS using added mass, test box, or SPL method
Straightforward, easy-to-use measurement software
Manufactured on state-of-the-art equipment using surface mount components
The primary application for WT3 will be testing raw drivers in order to gather the speaker parameters required for speaker design, but loudspeaker designers can also use WT3 to verify the resonance and Q of completed loudspeaker systems. You can even measure the 1 kHz inductance of your crossover inductors and the impedance response of complete multi-way loudspeaker systems.

it's a good product .It make me save several times to find out that all of the speakers that we use still in good condition and help me to find match pair of the driver .but do not forget setting maximum volume at the first time befor use it .if not ,it may get trouble to WT3 sofeware

Great Tool Thursday, September 17, 2009 Akoustiks Inc from Florence Arizona
I have had the opportunity to work with the Woofer Tester2 and the WT3. Hands down the WT3 is faster when measuring the T/S parameters for a woofer. Whats even better is the Tech Support. I initially had problems running this on Vista. I called PE Tech Support. They were very helpful in resolving the problem. The only thing with the WT3 is the lack of features to export to Bass Box. Woofer Tester 2 has this capability.

Nice tool Tuesday, August 25, 2009 Eli from Unknown Location
Worked well for me but you may need to play with some settings to get it to work. Even the the instructions say to turn up the sound card volumes all the way, I found this to not work on my machine. The curves were very distorted until I turned the output volume to 20%. Once I did that, the calibration looked fine (was a flat 1k curve)
