HiVi F5 5" Bass/Midrange

I bought a pair of these for some two way boxes that I built for a set of recording monitors. I am really impressed with not only the clarity of the sound, but also with how well the do with the lower frequencies. I'm not sayin' they would shake a gangsta's 40 off the table, but they do give a good clear sound suitable for any style of music I've played through them. Put it like this, I'd buy more.

i bought the Millennuim III kit yust whithout 8s.
i hawent calculate the tubes but the bass is yust rocks! its fell more deeper than 60hz and punch very good. it looks like more than 2.4mm of xmax..
every time i hear music some new things appear.they are wery sensitive hven you got two,when your playing loud its youst ca20watts,but if you want to play real loud,like consert wolume your need to kill some off the bass..all in all a wery good performer,but i think the looks are a bit on the boring side whit a look like yellow pappercone

This is a very nice driver for small enclosures. I used this to replace a pair of blown drivers in my surround speakers. Very nice sound, very nice look. Only problem I have is they are much less efficient then my older drivers (probably why the blew) so I have to up the gain to that channel. Not really a problem I guess.
