*Re-Review* of the 25-1414... It's nice! Thursday, November 29, 2007
Ben/"Wolf" (forum member) from Indiana
After I tweaked out the design with these and the M5N called "Mn-14", I'm now liking them a lot more. There is a trap required at the top end. I used a .1mH (20AWG) and a .44uF cap in parallel, then placed in series right before the driver. This nuked the rise in the top-octave, and with the 2.8 kHz damped third order crossover I used, it sounds better than a lot of other domes for the money. Frame is still plastic, but performance with a correct xover is top-notch. They are worth the $24!!

Using this in Krueger Audio Technologies first model. Relatively smooth with careful crossover choice, very revealing, inherent weather resistance, and high quality diaphram. Small mounting flange and rear chamber makes this a player.

Great Tweeter Saturday, July 28, 2007
Iggyak from Minneapolis, MN
I paired these with an 8 inch Goldwood (GW-8PC-30-4). The tweeters are very bright sounding and have excellent output. I had to bring all of the equalizing down to flat because of the week tweeter output of my old store bought speakers. They play in the vocal range and up very well. Because of the large frequency range, it made it easier to pair with a variety of woofers. Very pleased and surprised by the clarity and detail they produce in music and movies. You can t go wrong if you want a clear and loud system.
