DISCONTINUED Dayton SSTT-24 24" Tri-Tube Metal Speaker Stand

Instead of overpaying for a single center-channel stand I bought these and placed them back to back. In that configuration the stands appear to be a solid, single unit with a diamond shaped base having plenty of width to hold a large center-channel speaker (no teetering). I added two large rubber pads on the front part of the plates to slightly angle the center channel up while using two flat pieces of rubber on the rear plates. I currently have a Paradigm LCR-350 but in the event I choose to upgrade to a larger speaker these stands will easily accomodate in the back-to-back configuration. If you need a center-channel speaker stand consider these as an affordable, stylish option.

The Dayton line has continued to please me. If only these stands came with rubber feet(hardwood floors). That being said, buy some rubber adhesive feet when you order these. Otherwise, these stands are great!

Easy assembly and a quality product... what else could you want?! The included carpet spikes anchor an already substantial stand directly to the floor. Plus, they look a lot better than the assorted stuff that I had my speakers stacked on! I got these on sale... if that sale comes around again, I'll get two pair!
One small negative... the stands have holes in one of the tubes so you can pass speaker wire through it (out of sight). Be careful as you push the wire through, the edges of the holes are a bit sharp and COULD scrape the speaker cable jacket down to the copper.
Other than that, I am very, very happy with these stands!
