the low loss and high power rating make this a great inductor for use in high performance woofer circuits-using it for an 850Hz crossover.

I have tried a nuber of different products on the marked I liked this one the best. The lowest dc resistance, that lets the power amp conroll the woofer better. Very little wire in the signal path. about the same length than a typical short run of speaker cable. Large Guage wire and a massive powder core. I desingned a one element series crossover with this Coil employing the Dynaudio Esotar Tweeter and one of their 6 one half" Woofer mid driver. Once installed i notices immediate improvement in bass extention and controll, compared to the smaller powdered iron coil in use. Exellent product highly recommended.
