Jantzen P-Core Series Inductors feature a Permite (ferrous powder) material within the core, which creates significantly lower hysteresis before saturation occurs when compared to ferrite cores. The P-Core Series also features extremely low DCR values and a high power handling capability of 400 watts RMS.

These inductors are a great value. The only thing I don't like about them is the lead coming out of the middle, meaning the beginning of the winds on the coil, is too short. They only give you a couple of inches and there is now way to retreive more.
