Jantzen 3.3mH 15 AWG P-Core Inductor

I know air core inductors are suppose to be the best, but I was budget minded for the current project. Currently the only analytical piece of equipment I have is my ear, so I could not spew out wonderful numbers, and graph stuff. Having a pair of 10" inch polk subs for my car without voices being heard through them I want to crossover at 200hz. The mH was matched to the 4ohm speakers to give a 1st order butterworth. Each sub has its own inductor. My car is a saturn wagon. The enclosure is ported to factory specs. It took out the voices, but having them in my car I think makes everything rattle and I need to dampen the hatch on my wagon to really only hear the subs. Overall it did what I wanted but did not blow my mind. Good product.
