Jantzen P-Core Series Inductors feature a Permite (ferrous powder) material within the core, which creates significantly lower hysteresis before saturation occurs when compared to ferrite cores. The P-Core Series also features extremely low DCR values and a high power handling capability of 400 watts RMS.

Good but fragile product

This is a nice looking and performing product. However, it is fragile. On three occasions, I have received a shipment with cracked inductors. PE has always replaced, but I'll avoid this and hope that PE addresses the packing issue.

This product is small and compact for its use. Although, there isn't any way to affix it with screws the way you can other iron core inductors.
