Tension controlled precision winding using high quality metallized film provide the best possible volume density. 18 gauge stranded leads are constructed of polished high purity oxygen free copper with XLPE insulation. I replaced Solens in the output of a tube preamp with the Auricaps. It's amazing how much of the music gets held back in the solen capacitors. I listen with STAX earspeakers and the detailed presentation of the Auricaps is just amazing. Very worthwhile upgrade for the price.
