Dayton DFFC-0.47 0.47uF 400V By-Pass Capacitor

I used these in parallel with Solen fast caps in crossover networks where the Dayton caps contribute 10 to 20 percent of the total value. The Daytons very definitely improved the sound.

I've decided to use these as coupling caps in my last tube amp, because 0.47uF, 400V Orange Drops were simply too big to fit. There was a noticeable sound quality improvement right away. A more extended bass and treble were apparent...more clarity in acoustic instruments and female voices. At $1.39, these are a steal! I'm gonna buy a hundred before PE raise the price! They need a break in period of around 100 hours before they sound their best. (At first they may sound a tad too bright).

The price to performance ratio of these is just ridiculous. Excellent quality part, very good price. With such good quality, I just hope it stays that way!
