Dayton DMPC-50 50uF 250V Polypropylene Capacitor

I used this capacitor in a crossover. I have not fully allowed the speakers to break in but I can hear the sound I expected from a polypropylene and with little or no sound character of it's own.

I can safely say...that after using this product from Parts Express, this is one of the best upgrades available. The sound quality improvement over lesser caps such as mylars, and certainly electrolytics, is dramatic. The incredible clarity, musical details, and stunning sonic transparency are simply a amazing. Unless your in to esoteric, (pricey) parts, you'll be extremely happy with these.

I am an audio enthusiast, but I have to be aware of spending too much as well. In my opinion, any of these caps, as well as any of the Mills resistors, simply offer the best sound possible, at the price point they sit at (GREAT VALUE). I have used them on several projects where I was upgrading stock caps in older JBL 4410 studio monitors, as well as older Electro Voice PA Cabinets (SH1503 ER's & SH1803 ER'S), and couldn't be happier with the difference in what I was hearing. WOW!

Excellent neutral sound quality when used in my output transformer-less tube headphone amp. Maybe not quite as nice as my oil filled caps, but close, very close, and much smaller and cheaper in comparison. For the price, this is an excellent high fidelity product. Very pleased.
