Dayton PMPC-1.0 1.0uF 250V Precision Audio Capacitor

I use these in my Klipsch Forte speakers on the tweeters. Very clean and musical without adding the hyper-detail of some high-end caps. Once you hit the polypropylene level, sonic differences between brands are subtle at best anyway. Caps should sound neutral..why obsess over using them as expensive tone controls?

The build quality of these Dayton 1% caps is great and in one area better than any other capacitors I have seen. The leads are very thick, on a 1uf cap they must be about 16 gauge. I've seen so many large value film caps of large physical size with thin leads of less than 18 gauge, ridiculous. The caps body is very uniform and well constructed, unlike others I have seen at many times the price. They sound great to me, excellent job PE.
