This well-behaved driver has a very smooth frequency response with minimal cone breakup resonances, meaning it will work great even with relatively simple crossovers. This is accomplished via a special coated paper cone/dustcap assembly and a linear treated foam surround. The cosmetic polymer chassis is very handsome and will work perfectly in flush-mount situations-- no driver recesses are required. The bucking magnet allows placement within 6 or 7 inches of a CRT monitor. An outstanding all-around driver, this unit will provide great sound in many different applications, including line arrays!
