Peerless 830500 XLS 12" Subwoofer
By introducing the new Extra Long Stroke (XLS) series, Peerless has pushed the performance limits for subwoofers. Whether it's for an active home theatre subwoofer or for audiophile applications, XLS subwoofers will fulfill every demand for deep clean bass reproduction.
The design emphasis has been put in achieving extreme deep bass, long time reliability, high power handling, and very low-distortion. All XLS subwoofers feature large full roll rubber surrounds, nomex fiber impregnated cones and aluminum shorting rings for low distortion. Peerless has also designed matching "passive radiators" for use with their active subwoofers to enhance their performance. In the recommended 1.48 cu. ft. enclosure with the 12" XLS 425 Passive Radiator, the resulting bass response extends to an F3 of 20 Hz!
