If rugged horn drivers, designed for general purpose public address applications are what you need, then look no further then the excellent ID Series of heavy duty horn drivers from EV / University Sound. Sturdy, weather resistant diaphragms and housings ensure durability, even outdoors. These drivers are all convertible horn drivers with a 1-3/8"-18 thread, intended for use with compound diffraction horns. The "T" suffix indicates built-in transformers to accommodate both 25 and 70V lines. Specifications: * Frequency Response: 500 Hz-4 kHz (±5 dB) * Power Handling: 30 watts (500 Hz-5 kHz pink noise) * Sensitivity (1W/1m, 500 Hz-5 kHz pink noise w/Cobreflex III horn): 106 dB SPL (125 dB SPL-30 Watts) * Input: 25/70V * Dimensions: Dia. x Depth: 4.2" x 5.2".

Sound OK for general purpose use on Cobreflex horns. If used for higher power and broader range I use a series capacitor as recomended in the ID 60 spec sheet on the ID 60 page.
