Behringer MS16 2-Way Active Personal Monitor Speaker Pair

Ihave them connected to my computer and the sound is perfect for the size, needs some work on the bass. I found them on another place for 10.00 dollars less.

I wanted good balanced sound without the use of a separate subwoofer. These speakers deliver clear and rich sound. The controls in the front makes adjustments convenient.

I purchased these Behringer speakers to use with a small LCD flat panel TV with really crappy sound. I connected to the headphone output which mutes the internal speakers. Overall I'm very pleased. I was able to get a fairly smooth well balanced sound for dialog and music. I also tried them with CD as the source and they did a respectale job with that too. The low bass is somewhat lacking, and the volume is limited by speaker size & output power, but hey, what can you expect for $59? I don't think you'll do better for the price. For my use, they're perfect. They would probably also work well as computer speakers or as monitors for an instrument like keyboard. For critical listening, mixing, recording... I'd say spend a bit more for smoother response and more output power.
