Take your MP3 tunes on the road with this cushioned car docking station with FM transmitter. Built into the dock is a 1/8" (3.5 mm) headphone jack for audio connection to iPod, iPhone, MP3 players…even laptops. Audio is transmitted from the connected device to your vehicle's radio and may be tuned from 87.5 MHz to 108.0 MHz in 0.1 MHz increments. An adjustable cigarette lighter plug serves as the docking station's stand and connects to a vehicle's 12 VDC system for power. Charging for iPods and iPhones is accomplished through a 30-pin interface, other devices may be charged by connecting to a standard USB A female jack (USB cable not included). Device widths supported for dock: 1.2" to 3.75". A 24" male to male stereo 1/8" (3.5 mm) patch cable is included. Note: Does not work with 2nd generation iPhone. USB port does not perform data transfer, only for charging.

Does it all, Holds my Blackberry, Charges it, Plays podcasts over my car stereo. Probably not the best for music as it does have some static.

The charger is not compatible with newer generation Ipods. The USB cord also does not work. The unit is also very sensitive and often shuts off.

I have an older car and the lighter outlet is tight fit for this product. I think it could use a little power boost for the signal it puts out, even some weak station broadcasts can interfere with the device output which causes lack of clear sound from the mp3 player, but it does work.
