Wired Home offers a clean, simple solution for IR distribution in the WHIRDH infrared hub. Connections for four emitters or two emitters and two emitter blasters are placed on the front of the Decora style wall plate hub for quick and easy access, as are connection jacks for system power and system status. Mounted on the rear of the hub is a 3.5 mm jack for quick connection of an IR target, screw down terminals for bare wire connection, and controls for emitter power output and data transfer rate. Up to three additional IR hubs may be connected and powered off a single WHIRDH, when using the Wired Home high current power supply (not included), for four total zones of operation and a complete IR system that allows for control of any component on the network from any zone where a target is installed. Turn the living room stereo on from the backyard or skip tracks on a CD from the player in your bedroom, while in the garage. Specifications: • IR frequency bandwidth: 30-100 kHz • IR outputs: 4 emitter ports (with both sets of emitter/blaster ports set to EM ON), 2 emitter ports and 2 emitter blaster ports (with both sets of emitter/blaster ports set to BL ON) • IR inputs: 2 (one set of screw down terminals, and one 3.5 mm jack) • Recommended power input: 12 VDC, 1.2A • Dimensions: 2.75" H x 1.3" W x 1.9" D. Note: 12 VDC power supply, multi-conductor wire, as well as a Wired Home target and emitters are required for proper operation.
