2.5mm 4C Plug to 3.5mm Stereo Jack Adapter 6"

Great product for a great price. Used with headphones, tape adapter for car, and Y-cable for the stereo. It may not work with some phones/pda's, but I can verify that it works for the Samsung SCH-i760 from Verizon.

Like other Parts-Express products that have a 2.5mm plug, the tip is not connected to anything. If you want to tap the speaker output of a Valentine One or anything else that uses the tip of the plug, forget it. Not only does it not connect to the jack, there isn't even a conductor you can splice into.

Works great and the wire itself and rubber ends are very good quality - something I look for. Headphones snaps in and holds, very solid. I'm very happy and the price here at Parts-Express is unmatched. As the description notes, the wire has 3 wires inside: left [white] and right [red] channels and the ground wire...no mic wire.
