Dayton XO3W-375/3K 3-Way Crossover 375/3,000 Hz

Ordered this from Parts Express on a Monday at 11:00 AM, received on Tuesday at 4:00 and had everything installed by 7:00 that night! Unbelieveable customer service from Parts Express.

Now onto the review. These crossovers are phenomenal for the price. I have no doubt that there are higher priced ones that crossover at a lower point but I don't think these can be topped for how much they cost. I had some generic xover setup in my current three way system. While the sound was ok, it wasn't where I thought it should be.

After installing these xovers, I can now tell a HUGE difference in the sound. First thing, no more voices/speech coming through my 12" subs! The voices are kept to where they should be - in the mids and tweeters. Second thing, the bass tightened up alot. Third thing, my 5" midrange is also now a part of the show. Before not much was coming out of it but now its very evident that the dialog is coming from there.

A couple things to note, the size measurements are correct and these are LARGE. Also, the terminals take the .205" female terminals. This size isn't always easy to find so make sure to add them onto your order to ensure proper connection.

I relpaced the cerwin vega RE38 oem crossovers with Dayton XO3W-375/3K 3-Way Crossover all i can say is its like night and day. They could be smaller i'm happy.

I am using this unit in a pro sound application for a local Big Band. It has cleaned up our sound considerably and was an excellent value at the sale price.
