Used these woofers in some old Scott speakers. These sound as good as the originals, and I am thrilled to have rubber surrounds. The paper ones rotted out of the originals.

My 23 year old SpeakerLab W1028P 10" woofers suffered from the dreaded foam rot syndrome, so I pulled them out and installed a pair of the Dayton Classic series woofers. The results far exceeded my expectations. The Daytons have very clean low end response with deep, tight, solid bass. They handle power well and perform beautifully in my sealed enclosures. Needless to say the price is right too! I ordered the woofers online on a Sunday and they were in my hands early Wednesday morning. Way to go Parts Express!
