Great modeling software for quick calculations Sunday, August 2, 2009
Ray from RI
I found this software to be very easy to use and accurate enough for what I need it for. I was using LEAP, but could not afford the upgrade to use with my new computer. I figured I give the software a try and it's very good. Compared to spending up to $1500.00 for LEAP or $130.00 for BassBox you can see the easy choice. Very easy and powerful tool for am's and pro's alike.

Delivers what it promises for bass reflex design. Sunday, August 17, 2008
Ed D. from Minnesota
Well worth the money. Speaker database is fairly comprehensive, I only had to manually add a half-dozen or so to get to where I thought I had exhausted all reasonable possibilities for a new design. Tech support responded in less than 24 hours. After a few weeks worth of evenings with BassBox I was able to finalize a design that I once thought impossible (15 to 100 hz +/- 0.5 dB). Initial testing shows that BassBox was right on. BassBox does not address horns nor transmission lines, but does cover most aspects of bass reflex, including passive radiator.

buy a calculator and a good design book, there are so many free programs available, what a waste of cash!
