HiVi B4N 4" Aluminum Midbass Round Frame

I made a pair of solid maple boxes for these at .11 ft^3 sealed with a jamo 3/8 tweeter and crossed them over at 8000 hz. these sound amazing! I need to reduce the amount of high end they put out but overall it is a good sounding set of speakers. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a great sounding speaker.

used these in two pair's of Paul Carmody's "Overnight Sensations". exceeded my expectations, delivering good sound quality and great value at the same time. only ding on features is for the relatively thin stamped frame.

This is an extremely versatile and durable little guy. Used as a woofer/mid in a small system or as a mid in a larger system this unit will deliver consistently even frequency response and very warm, accurate sound while handling loads of power for a speaker of this size.
The only thing to watch out for (and it's easily worked around) is the typical metal driver ringing/peakiness at around (in this case) 10,000HZ. No problem at all, just make sure to cross over to your tweeter at well below that and you've got a great mid for next to nothing!
