Very good mid range for big front speakers! !!! Monday, November 2, 2009
carpy from Unknown Location
I used theses in a set of speakers My brother and I put together. 12 on the bottom, then the great 5 1/4 and dayton dc28f tweeter on top. WOW,even with the RCA 12 100 watt woofer they still have great bass. I think the 5 1/4 is why also have a 4" port. The tweeter is the cherry on top. Another GREAT dayton product. Thank you Parts Express. P.S. I used dayton 3 way cross overs that made the difference.

Officially impressed Sunday, January 25, 2009
Desmond from Galloway, OH
continued review...
After listening to the DA135-8 for almost a year of daily use I can report it has no issues. Though I'm not driving these to ear-splitting levels, and there are two drivers per cabinet, they seem free of distortion when turned up. They make great bass and the mid-range feels true. I'm very pleased with their overall performance.

You can get a much better woofer at the same price Thursday, December 4, 2008
TubeHead Johnny from Schenectady, The Electric City, NY.
Mediocre performance, low sensitivity, and ragged response, especially over 2KHz are enough reasons not to buy this woofer. After a few months I swapped these for a pair of DC130BS-8's and it was a BIG improvement. And they were a dollar cheaper!
