Upgrade for my son's speakers

After reviewing the T/S specs for many 8" speakers I picked these for my son's speaker system. Placing it in a half cubic foot enclosure and tuning a port for about 38 Hz these things sounded great. The woofer (these) gets the full range output and the tweeters live with a simple series capacitor for a crossover. The bass is smooth, tight and responsive. I hear no hint of distortion or poor response in the crossover region in his installation.
I am very pleased with how this turned out.

Good steel frame replacement speaker

Used these as replacements for JBL 820m's. Needed to open up mounting hole in cabinet a bit, but it worked out fine and they sound great.
