smaller, but still killer Wednesday, November 4, 2009
Matthew Dupuy from Covington LA
These used to be 7x7". I don't know why, but they are proportionately smaller now. They sound roughly the same, with the exception of a higher Fo. They are only usable above approximately 2200 Hz. They still sound great though. Still worth the money, no doubt.

Incredible!!! Wednesday, July 8, 2009
Matthew Dupuy from Covington, LA
I purchased a pair of these to mate with 12's for a small venue system for my live audio production company. Selenium D210Ti drivers, 3.8Khz, 6db x-over, L-pad 7db for roughly 97db 1w/1m. They sound wonderful. My DBX 2231 eq is completely flat from 4k up. This waveguide is worth every penny. And with the sale price of $6, you CAN'T beat it. Drawbacks. Slightly resonant. I filled in the 1/2 inch voids on the back with fiberglass resin, and PRESTO! resonances gone. Also, not a very high gain product. It IS a waveguide though, so I wasn't expecting much anyway. Buy it. Don't hesitate. You won't regret it.

Change from Titanium dome to horn tweeter Wednesday, March 25, 2009
Steve from FLorida
I changed out a blown JBL 1" titanium tweeter to
a horn tweeter ( an Eminince super tweeter with
a threaded adapter nipple ). The results are fabulous. The JBL was reated at 35 watts(2.5 KHZ), while the new is rated at 45 watts @2.5KHZ//85 watts@3.5KHZ). My Yamaha Pre-amp
allows me to set the crossover. While my Crest
Audio power amp blows these speaker hard ( JBL
L-100 ) Thank You. PS-order the large product
