Tang Band W3-926SD 3" Driver

Replaced a Realistic 3-inch speaker in a small (about 3x3x3)cabinet. Works great for communications and has good off axis dispersion. May buy another one for the same type of service.

Gets the job done and works well for a replacement.

As an audio designer by trade, I experience quite a few speakers. I just had to try this little guy out.

The mids are actually pretty good. Clear and detailed. But there is absolutely no sparkle in the treble. The specs say she's good to 20K, but my ears tell me it nosedives... though my own sweep doesn't show this. My own opinion is this speaker is best used as a midrange.

My test was in a 1.5 litre sealed, crossed at 600Hz with a woofer.

However, if you want a fine little MM speaker for a 2 litre box or so, it's a great bang for the buck.
