I have never worked on a speaker before, but found after removing the cover that my fluttering speaker did not need to be replaced. Only a new foam surround was needed. Started three hrs before bed. Let the final parts dry over night and it worked great!

 Generic 6 1/2 kit a little too small

Parts Express Customer from Unknown Location
The 6 1/2 inch kit suspension was too narrow to reach the cone on the speakers I have. They just barely overlapped. I used some sturdy RTV rather than the cement provided.
Be sure to verify that the suspension completely fits, and that there is enough material to bond.
Other than that, the kit was well thought out and had very good instructions.
