Great Bang for Your Buck! Sunday, June 15, 2008
Damon from Star, Idaho.
Im using two of these in a bandpass box with a 12mm excursion 12. There is no port noise whatsoever. The tuning frequencuy I was going for was rather high because of the nature of a bandpass box, therefore the length of these things was not a problem. They are inexpensive, flared so reduced port noise, and they give the box the store bought box look, but without the store bought price!

High performance tube Sunday, March 23, 2008
Bassman from sacramento
This gets the noise reduction of the expensive aero ports without the price. I would have given a higher rating for features if it was longer. Still usable in my application, it will limit some uses in a smaller box where more length is required.

Good looks, good quality, but a few complaints Tuesday, March 18, 2008
Dirk Van Appledorn from Holland MI
This is a great general flared port. I used it do tune a 4CF bass cabinet loaded with two 8" drivers tuned to 30Hz and it works wonders. looks good too. my complaint is that the main portion of the tube is truncated a bit. this makes trimming it to length a little more complex. i had to make a wooden jig to hold it in ordered to get things just right. also, i wish it had a nice end fitting for an inside flare. All else aside, a nice product.
